Recruitment Message Test

Gonna try to type out a rough draft of our recruitment message we will put on the Smolderthorn Realm Forums. Feel free to nitpick at this.

Who are we?

We are Unstoppable! We're a relatively new guild of people who like to have fun, help each other out, and progress further into whatever new challenge Blizzard decides to throw our way. At first, we simply recruited by grouping with unguilded people, having fun with them, and inviting them to join us on our raids and events. This method proved to be a good way of finding quality people who would positively add to our guilds atmosphere, however the drawback is that it is a slow process that has left us lacking certain classes altogether in our guild. This is where you could come in!

What do we do?

Right now we raid predominantly 10-man raid instances, with a few 25-mans thrown in now and then. Everything we raid is an easy clear, the only two bosses not currently downed are Yogg-Saron (due to schedule/server issues) and Algalon (because he's serious business). We are trying out a new schedule where we run Naxx-10 on Tuesday, Ulduar-10 on Thursday and Friday, and EoE-10/OS-10&25 on Saturday all starting around 10:00 pm server time. At the moment we have enough members to field our 10-man raids consistently and clear them with ease, and are working to build a second group to do another Uld-10 and help balance our first group.We would also like to begin to work on more 25-mans if we get more capable members. Off-times are hotspots for alt raids, heroic runs, or other events, and someone is usually always on to help if you need them.

What do we need?

In short, we want quality people who are not only competent at their class, but able to contribute to the easy-going raid attitude we have. While this post is an effort to find specific classes that our guild currently lacks, we will give responses by anyone some consideration. Currently our guild could really use:

#1. Ranged DPS
-Mage
-Balance Druid
-Warlock
-Other ranged dps are welcome to apply too, just let it be known we already have some of you Wink

#2. Heals
-Holy Pally
-Holy/Disc Priests
-Other heals are welcome to apply too, just let it be known we already have some of you Wink

#3. Tanks
(This is mostly for the start of a 2nd group/25 mans)
-Protection Pally
-Feral Druid (Tank)
-Other tanks could be considered, but we want to try to get a little more diversity in our tanks

Who should I contact?

Calluv, Isyss, Zarrakk, Kenntgo, and Volamek are all officers you could contact if you wished to get more information about our guild, or wanted to try to join up with us. At this point, we'll probably end up taking guild hopefuls into our raids/heroics to see how it turns out, and make our decisions on an individual basis.

While gear isn't an issue for joining the guild (we do the T7 content for a reason), the desire to progress and learn from your mistakes is a trait we look for in our members (along with a good sense of humor). We hope to raid with you soon!
